Lol, these are not collectible cars. Many BMWs have been produced in lower volumes and are not collectible. Used M2s are going to be selling in the upper 30s soon enough.
I didn't say they where collectibles but I get your point, it's not like a M1 or even less a 507. But if you think about it in te future lower production numbers equals to more desirable cars. Recent examples are the 1M, e92 due to their s65 engine (not a collectible, but really desirable), also the e90 M3 CRT, etc.

Let me point the fact again that low production numbers equals to more desirable models, ultimately making them collectibles down the road.
