It is interesting, not sure what the magic number is but a buddy and I run very similar lap times we run together in the same group both have M2, same Cup 2 tires and same Pagid brake pads, the last weekend we ran his turned dark green almost black and mine are still blue. I am sure its a matter of time for mine but 8 pretty hard track days and they are still blue for me. I am sure he is generating more brake temp then me but I am not sure how much more.
