You won't feel much difference. 10 mm width increase won't give you big enough difference actually.

I cant really give you my opinion as I did not experience mine with stock Contis with stock size tires as they were sold after I took the delivery. But I will say it gives little more resistance turning the steering due to wider front tires.

If you make decent choice on new tires, they should give more than what you need on spirit weekend back road drive.

Edit: Sorry I misread your post. 275/295 will be different enough to give you the difference in feeling. They will be harder to steer. Too much grip at the front will give you more over-steer. IMHO, stock F87 power is just good with 255 front and 275 rear (which is F8X M3/M4 stock tire sizes) to put down on the surface. Wider than 275/295 will add more than 10 lbs of total weight at sum all 4 corners. And not safe with given wheel size.
I will give you wider more muscular look from behind, but thats all there is.
Ok interesting, did not know stock M3/4 has 255 F 275 R - maybe a good move to keep 245 F with wider 275 R - thanks all for the good advices
