I know it ratchets up the costs a bit, but I completely solved this issue by buying a lightly used AP Racing front BBK on the M3/4 forum for less than $3k. The AP Factory disc is 378mm x 36mm.
I ran the fuel tank dry in a long session (50min) and had zero fade with excellent modulation.
