I would also imagine that the larger the sidewall, the more forgiving the car will be on the limits in turns and sudden direction changes. More "squirm" should equate to much less chance of sliding out immediately and without notice, as the tire should let loose more gradually rather than suddenly. Absolute limits in turns might be slightly lower (speed). However, I know nothing.
