You can either jack the car up using the
- front or rear center jack point and place the jack stands under the side jack points or sub frame
- a jack point and place the jack stands under the subframe, see post #13
- front or rear side jack point high enough that you can put a jack stand other the other jack point on the same side
I use the first method, b/c I can place a jack stand under each side.
Save yourself money and buy some hockey pucks b/c they work on all of the jack points plus if you mangle the side jack point they are cheap to replace. The reason those adapters are not good with jack stands are b/c as you lower the car it moves along an angle (hypotenuse).
