I raised the point b/c it's not the first time I've seen comparisons like this between 2 cars with different transmissions.
If memory serves correct, I think the same thing happened with either with the Motor trend or Car and driver video comparing the Camaro 2SS and the M4.

Yes and there was one recently with a DSG Audi TTRS against a MT porsche cayman and a MT M2.
Anyway this youtube channel with the Mustang and the M2 only has just over 10k subscribers, so they might not have the kind of pull that makes it easy for them to produce the right transmission on the right car in time for a shoot.
Something like Motor Trend has MILLIONS of subscribers and has much less excuse for not being able to get the right cars to compare apples to apples.
