I considered all of the cars on your list (with the exception of the 240). But since I just came out of a Benz (CLS63) I wanted to go somewhere different. Didn't like the rolly polly feel of the M3 and M4. Felt as big and un-nimble as my CLS (even the Comp package). The wife said 'absolutely not' to the Vette and a Cayman (no back seats).
Luckily I fell in love with the M2 and she gave me a thumbs up.
I'd say go drive all of them and figure it out.
