I was quoted $100 for coating my exhaust tips by my detailer who had already coated my car with ceramic pro silver package. I noticed the tips get black easily especially when I use sport+ mode that makes the exhaust pop the loudest. Does coating the tips really help with maintaining it cleaner because my concern is the heat will remove it. However he mentions multiple layers to protect it more.
