I agree,the 1M will definitely hold its value based on the low production numbers and also because it is a great sports car.The M2 release won't affect IM prices at all IMO.
I have never checked Z4 M prices but the E46 M3 with 6MT values are also going up in price,at least for cars that are in good shape and don't have a huge amount of miles.
